Sat on another train heading into the office, and it's broken down... While I'm on it! But to be fair, I spent all day yesterday and today working from home. Now going into office for lunch with friend, book a room for Monday's client meeting, and to get drunk in soho after work. So to be fair I don't mind the train breaking. Although just discovered the toilets are out of action :( Trains are one of those things that I love and hate, I love nice trains but hate horrid ones. I used to secretly be a rail enthusiast... But grew out of it thankfully. Now classify myself as an engineering enthusiast ie if it looks cool and manly I will like it - like men :) The little shitty FCC train I'm on at the moment has had the brakes applied and they can't release it I'm told.... Oh hold on we have just Ed moving... Probably meaning they have scraped the blood off the windscreen from the one under - I shouldn't joke about these things... They are terrible and I feel for the people who have to deal with it. Having been up close and personal to an RTA it's not a pretty business. But to be fair it wouldn't surprise me if that's what has happened. The east coast mainline is terrible for it! Well I went to work for super global company to go see the world and in less than a month it's looking likely this is going to happen! A conference call yesterday with a guy from the USA saying... Oh yes mr expert we really need your help... Are you happy with coming to work out of Chicago for a few months.... Erm fuck yes!!!! Bring on the american cock.... Oh yeah!!! Breaking the news to the folks was easy... Yes I'm going to live in Chicago for a few months... Ah right ok son... Enjoy urself and go steady... I'm pleased my parents have eventually realised I'm a big boy (in more ways than one) and can fend for myself! Anyway need to continue fantasising about the hugely gay concierge staff who's job in life is to make me happy (wipes mouth). ;)
