Moving along

Well it's been an interesting few months so here is a brief summary of the changes gone through :) - I have moved house, eventually.. It took an entire month to move and I kinda forgot how much stuff I own. As a result I have spent a fortune on new furniture for the place. And have now decided that I need to throw away most of the crap I have retained over the past few years. If I look back at three years ago I moved into welwyn (herts) as an interim until I found something better. I ended up staying there three years. The only reason I chose the place was because I didn't want to keep staying in hotels. The new place is really nice and I now have a lovely house mate who keeps me well grounded. Cause he's a fellow northerner I also can share trips tup north with him. - I have settled into the new job. There are times I hate the job and times I love it. Overall I think it was the correct career decision. I now deal on a very different level to where I was in my previous role. To give a bit of reference go this I used to design cool things for mid managers, now I spend my days advising CTO's of huge businesses. There are times it gets a bit annoying but on the whole it was a clear decision to move for the right reasons and looking at the previous company and the change they are going through it was a good choice. - it appears I may have met a nice guy who I like. Ok so it's really early days. But things are going in the right direction. I'm not getting over excited as there is no point doing that. We do enjoy spending time together but not smothering each other (well not yet anyway!). So then what's left to change? Well not a lot at the moment. I think the short term things are going ok. I can get out in town and have beers with friends etc. All appears well ;) Maybe one thing I do need is a holiday and to visit some of my close friends. This is the new target for the next few months. - oh and get very drunk at the LGBT Xmas event :)
