Complex, me?
Posted on 25 September 2011
During periods of reflection... well.. ok the past week. I have come to realise that there is far too much complexity in life. Whether it be the idiot in accounts who has decided that my expenses dont need paying this month, or the eruptive and destructive nature of relationships.
Now you are all aware of my wonderful track record on the relationships forefront... but why do they have to be so complex? Maybe from the previous post on selection criteria I have not got it right yet?
In the past three years we have had a boyfriend who didn't love me and instead want to be the third wheel in someone else's relationship, a boyfriend who has a girlfriend, and a guy I really liked who had a boyfriend (yes me almost playing the third wheel!).
So who do we have today then Cilla....
1. Hi my name is A from the Midlands, im "owned" by someone although I am single and locked in a CB. Im a genuinly nice guy, and a friend of your friends.
2. Hi my names B from Cambridge, I live with lots of girls and work at PC World. Im a really nice guy but not into committing to anything with anyone.
3. Hi my names C from tup north, im really nice, and very loving, but I look like ive ate all the pies and been hit in face with a frying pan. I also want to tie you up and leave you in my house for ever.
Ok maybe I have slightly exaggerated there, but you get the gist.
May be I expect too much from the world? In fact come to think of it, not one of my friends can I completely class as normal and uncomplex? We have a few gay couples in my friends list who are very complex, and a few straight couples who are less complex but still none the less up there! Ah think ive just hit the nail on the head! The reason things are complex is because I am gay. This must stem from my mother mollycoddling me too much as a child (which everyone in psychology fields knows makes you gay!). Yes so my life is complex because my mum did it! Ah there we go... now off down the yellow brick road to see the wizard of Oz to ask him if he can give me some pragmatism.... "were off to see the wizard.... the wonderful (if slightly complex) wizard of oz!"
